The rapid development of "Advanced Driver Assistance Systems" (ADAS) has created a situation where all automakers have an increased need for image processing. However, novel challenges need to be addressed due to the strict requirements on reliability, unit cost, bandwidth and life time expectancy.
At the Diadrom stand, ADAS products will be demonstrated that has been developed with LG Innotek Co. Ltd (LG IT) for the customer China Euro Vehicle Technology AB (CEVT).
"The number of advanced sensors, such as cameras, have increased dramatically over the last couple of years in modern vehicles. The main driver has been ADAS, but the increase will continue for a long while as self-driving vehicles become a reality" says Dr. Henrik Fagrell, CEO Diadrom.
